Looking for Main Actor in a dark absurdist graduation short

We are looking for a dutch/international actor between the age of 30-50 to play the part of Wilco in a graduation short film for Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam.

We are looking for an actor to play the part of Wilco.

Character Description
"Wilco has been working at the passport photoshop for at least 10 years. He started as an intern and has never left since then. Wilco is the type who always has a faint smile on his face, and if you ask him how he's doing, he'll always say he's doing well. Wilco thrives best in a structured environment with as few challenges as possible. However, this smile is superficial because deep down, Wilco is unhappy. He has no friends and is afraid to take any steps. long as he keeps doing what he does every day, nothing can go wrong. Yet Wilco, like any other human being, wishes he had friends and belonged somewhere. He secretly wonders what is in store for him outside the photoshop."

"Through his experience with the cult, Wilco is confronted with his own situation. He realizes, along with the viewer, that everything he wants - contact with people - is within reach. The only thing holding him back is his indecisiveness. It's now or never: he must take action, or else he will work in the photoshop for the rest of his life and possibly end up as a bitter old man."

The role is played without dialogue. This means that the acting is very physical, and expressions need to be strong: an ambiguous smile that hides sadness, with indifferent nonchalance. During the “ritual of doubt” in the cult, the character Wilco is possessed by doubt which manifests in a performance in which he is almost physically torn apart by doubt.

Periode
We are planning to have three days of shooting after the 20th of April.
