Last February, as a first-year student of film and audiovisual media, I shot my first short film Under the Pink Light. This film is about Johanna, a young woman who develops a relationship with another woman while going out, and has to keep this a secret from her strict religious mother.

What do we offer?
Because this is a passion project my budget for this assignment is max. €100, part of which can be paid in advance in consultation. In addition, you will of course have the opportunity to add this project to your own portfolio.

Description
I had to edit this film myself for my education, but am now looking for someone who can make a (better) edit of it for my portfolio. I am looking for someone who understands the core of the story well and with my creative input can turn this into a strong edit.

To do this, you will receive the script, the director's vision and the raw footage. I would also like to meet with you (in the Rotterdam region or online) to discuss specific wishes.

Job requirements / profile
I am looking for someone who enjoys editing and preferably has some experience. This is a student project, so I would prefer someone who is a student themselves or has recently graduated, but this is not a requirement. On a more practical level, I am looking for someone who is open to my creative input, feedback, and periodic check-ins, and who communicates clearly.

Affinity with sound is a plus, but not a requirement. If not desired or not possible, it is sufficient to only sync the sound in consultation.
