Herd is a surrealist short film about a young man named Danny who feels a lot of pressure from his friends and family, but as the film progresses, it turns out that this pressure is more inside Danny himself than he realizes.

This short film is a passion project by me, the writer and director, Ruben de Goeij. The film is not a standard linear story, but it has a more dream-like structure, similar to the films of David Lynch.

What do we offer?
The project is unpaid; however, it can be an interesting role since there is a fight scene between you and Danny where you really have the opportunity to show your acting skills in dramatic emotional scenes.

Travel costs will also be paid, and there will be catering on set.

Description
We are looking for an actress between 20 and 35 years old to play the role of Ilse, Danny's girlfriend, who will appear in several scenes.

There is a fight scene between Danny and Ilse, so the actress needs to be able to play emotional fight scenes realistically. There is also going to a sequence where Danny ends up in a utopian paradise where he is free from all the pressure of society. In this sequence, Danny and Ilse are dressed as cave people.
