We're looking for the supporting cast for the feature film 'Medusa'. A dark fantasy retelling of the myth, set in Ancient Greece/Rome. Directed by Skyler Muller (www.skylermuller.eu) and written by Merel Muller (www.merelmuller.nl)

'Who is the monster? The one who is cursed, the one who cursed her, or the man who couldn’t understand the word ‘no’? Before the monster, she was a woman. This is the story of Medusa.'

What do we offer?
Due to the limited budget we're working with, we can only offer travel expenses, catering on set, and, when needed, housing near the filming locations.

Description
We’re looking for a diverse cast for the feature film ‘Medusa’.

Athena (V, 35-70)
The Goddess of wisdom and war. In this story, she’s stoic and cold. We’re looking for someone, regardless of age and appearance, who can portray Athena and do the role justice.

Poseidon (M, 25-55)
God of the sea. We’re looking for the character, and not a specific age.

Hermes (M, 20-30)
God of travellers. Compared to Athena and Poseidon, Hermes appears much younger and mischievous. We’re looking for someone who can bring the ‘jokester’ energy to this role.

Perseus (M, 20-35)
A young hero wanting to prove himself. While he doesn’t fully trust the judgment of the gods, and wants to see the ‘monster’ he is send to kill with his own eyes first.

5 Priestesses of Athena (V/X, 20-40)
5 roles, ranging from some smaller roles to having a full side plot within the film. We’re looking for a diverse group of 5 woman willing to take on these roles.

5 Greek Soldiers (M/X, 20-40)
5 roles, ranging from some smaller roles to having a full side plot within the film.

Timeperiod
July - October 2026, 1-7 days depending on the role.
