Get Up Stand Up tells the story of Vera, a young woman who loses her leg in an accident. We follow Vera in the aftermath: how she copes with the loss of her old life, struggles with the new reality, and gradually finds herself again. Along the way, Vera meets a new group of friends who show her what it means to find strength in vulnerability: people who have lived with a physical disability their entire lives.


The film shows how difficult it can be to let go of your old life, but also how you can find strength in new experiences and friendships.


Get Up Stand Up is a film about loss, resilience, and connection. The film will be released in theaters and will also be broadcast on television in the Netherlands and Greece.

What do we offer?
You'll receive €250 for this shoot, excluding travel and parking expenses. An additional €10 is charged if you're needed on set after midnight.

We're looking for (semi-)actors for a scene on the street after a club night/during a demonstration. In this scene, you'll play a drunken couple after a club night. You'll therefore have a scene partner.

In this scene you'll be stumbling along drunk and bumping into someone, and have lines.

We are looking for m/f/x with demonstrable playing experience.

Role: Drunk clubber
Age: 18 – 35 yrs. old.
Global times: 4:30 PM - 2:45 AM
