Hello! We are making a short film based on the song Une Belle Histoire by Michel Fugain & Le Big Bazar. The story is about a man and a woman who share an unforgettable love during a summer in France. Years later, when his car filled with memories breaks down, the man must face the past and let go.

Matthijs is a man in his late 40s to early 60s, with a weathered appearance that reflects a life full of missed opportunities and lasting memories. His unshaven face and worn, earth-tone clothing give him a lived-in look.

Cynical and reserved, he clings to the past through his old car – a relic filled with memories of a love he could never let go. Every scratch and every song on the radio reminds him of what once was. Although he rarely shows his emotions, his silence betrays a deep inner conflict: the struggle between holding on and letting go.

Good to know: you must have a driver's license. Furthermore, the role does not require dialogue and there are no co-stars. We are preferably looking for someone with dark eyes and dark hair.
