About me
I have been working in \'the profession\' as a self-employed person for over 23 years. After my education at the School of Journalism in Utrecht, I immediately started my own business in 1986, under the name \'Open Eye Productions\'. Later that became a VOF with Ernst Ellerman as a business partner. It has now grown and I am the owner of a number of BVs, the operating companies of which are Libra Films BV (production company) and Libra Licensing BV (stock footage/archive images licensing company). Open Eye Productions is a trade name in my holding company Ijsendoorn Beheer BV, under which name I make documentaries and DVDs with lectures related to spiritual subjects. I work freelance as a cameraman, editor and copywriter, so quite broad, but I also enjoy it a lot.

After more than 23 years of broadcast-level filming on locations around the world, I have built up an extremely extensive video archive, currently over 3,500 hours of footage. This material is often the basis for commissioned productions and own projects. In addition, I license this material to colleagues and other interested parties.
