About me
Silver Tjepkema is an audiovisual artist and filmmaker working across editing, sound recording, camera and post-production. She graduated from LUCA School of Arts in Brussels, where she focused on directing and storytelling, alongside extensive technical training in cinematography, sound recording, and editing through programs at the European Film College and Aalto University.
Alongside her own film practice, she works freelance across commercial and audiovisual productions, with a strong focus on editing, on-set sound, and post-production workflows. Her background in directing informs a narrative-driven approach to rhythm, pacing, and sound-image relationships. Her graduation film, Heaven Will Wait (2025), is currently screening internationally, and her installation work has been exhibited at Villa Mondriaan.
