This summer, I am producing a feature film, "CIRCUMSTANCE," filming in Amsterdam and Michigan in August. CIRCUMSTANCE follows a Dutch university production of "Othello" that brings an African-American student abroad to play the title role. It tackles Dutch racial politics and theatre practices in a fast-paced drama of Shakespearean proportions with sex, violence, queer relationships, and techno.
