About me
LUZIE KURTH (b. 1997, Cologne) is a director and multimedia artist whose work explores the intersection between food, human rights, and storytelling through audiovisual projects. After studying Theatre and Political Science at the Free University of Berlin, with study periods in London and Mexico City, she completed her Masters in Applied Human Rights at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Building on her early foundation in acting and radio drama, she has been working as an assistant director for public broadcasters since 2016, collaborating with renowned directors such as Wolf Wondratschek, Mouse on Mars, and Jörg Buttgereit. This experience has shaped her approach to sound-focused storytelling, which she now brings to her independent productions. Her debut documentary "BIG FISH - Rumba Rwandaise" premiered at the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles in Paris (September 2024). She currently lives in Brussels.
