About me
My name is Mathieu and I was born Gent but raised in China and the Netherlands. After Graduation from the Film, Tv and Video Bachelor at Narafi in 2018 I honed my technical skills as a camera operator and AC as well as working in rental Rental houses. In 2022 I retuned to Brussels to pursue a Bachelor and a Masters’s degree in Audiovisual arts and graduated in 2025.
I have always been fascinated by the play of light in everyday life and the emotions that it can invoke. I strive translate this awareness to the images I make and to use the right tools to help tell a compelling story.
