About me
I am Nora Pavlova, a curious and committed starter in the film and cultural sector, with experience in production, hospitality and festival organization. What drives me is supporting and bringing to life stories that touch, whether that is on a film set, during a festival or within impact-driven documentaries.
I studied Liberal Arts & Sciences with a specialization in social sciences. During my studies I developed strongly in interdisciplinary and academic writing, and I became increasingly interested in how stories, scientific, social or visual, can connect and move people.
Recently I worked as a production assistant on a feature film, and was involved as a 3rd assistant director on the set of a short film. I also did an internship at a film production company NU Boyana in Bulgaria and was Assistant Location Manager Netherlands Film Festival. This gave me experience with set running, planning, team communication and making sure shooting days run smoothly.
I like to work independently but also in a team, I am stress-resistant and practical. I like it when no day is the same, I take responsibility and learn quickly. I live in Amsterdam, am flexible, have a driver's license B, and speak fluent Dutch, English and Bulgarian - and reasonable Spanish and French.
