I am Purcy Lo-A-Njoe, a filmmaker from Suriname and student at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. For years I immersed myself in the creative world in my home country, where I discovered my passion for film. Now I am working on my specialization as a director and cinematographer, with a focus on cinematography, sound mixing and lighting. For me, film is about capturing emotions and telling diverse stories that connect and inspire. With my background and ambition, I strive to make a lasting impact as a director and producer, while staying true to my roots and my unique vision.
