Soraya Omtzigt

Soraya Omtzigt is a Dutch-Surinamese actress and dancer, with a natural dramatic range and an organic sense of humor. She uses her dancer brain to embody each role with strength, depth, and vulnerability. She recently graduated from New York University, with a BFA in Drama and a Minor in Dance, in New York City, USA. Her work is influenced by her Meisner training, the Grotowski technique, contact improvisation, and 17 years of dance experience (currently training professionally at PMT House of Dance, NYC). Soraya is fascinated by how movement and dance can contribute to greater empathy and connection and is excited to bring her work experience from "The Big Apple" to the Netherlands this summer!
