About me
At the age of fifteen I started an MBO acting course, where I got my diploma four years later. After that I studied English and occasionally acted in an amateur theatre company. In the meantime, now 28 years old, acting is starting to itch again and I want to be in front of the camera and/or on stage again.
My specialties include showing different kinds of emotions, on different levels. Big play and small play are both familiar to me. I am good at treating texts in different ways, speak perfect and accent-free Dutch (although I can do a number of accents, such as Amsterdam or Rotterdam, very well) and, partly due to my education, I also speak fluent (British) English. I am extremely lingual and get a lot of pleasure from analyzing texts and making roles my own.
I am flexible and able to listen to the wishes and instructions of the director, but I also do not turn my nose up at improvisation. I can also sing and if necessary learn a choreography.
During the first year of my theater education I also followed the Stage and Event Technology course and obtained my diploma for that. So I can also support in making, for example, lighting plans and connecting (theater) technology.
