About me
Hi, I am Itam van Teeseling and am the founder of the sole proprietorship Bureau Beeldrijm. I am trained as a journalist and specialize in creating text and video.
After my education at the School of Journalism in Utrecht, I ended up at Innovam, a training company in the field of mobility. I worked here for five years as an in-house video maker and was involved in making training videos for e-learning platforms, communication videos, marketing videos, tutorials and testimonial videos. I was in the middle of the business world for five years and worked for big names in the mobility sector.
I did this on my own and had to extra out and learn a lot myself to meet the requirements of Innovam. I gained a lot of experience and knowledge, especially in the field of video technology, filming and editing. In addition, I also learned a lot about the business world itself.
In the end, blood is thicker than water and I decided to focus more on journalism. I quit my job and started my own business. In the meantime, I was able to work part-time at the NTR, where I wrote articles for the website of the science program De Kennis Van Nu and edited videos for the social media channels. As a freelancer, I started working at OPEN Rotterdam, the best local broadcaster in the Netherlands (how modest). I have been making camjo items here for a few years now, where I go out with the camera alone, do interviews and edit until I have an item that I am satisfied with. In addition, I make a corporate video every now and then and I am still busy making e-learning videos for educational institutions. And oh yes... I still write.
