Hello!
My name is Arnoud Dalen Meurs, and I am an enthusiastic 17-year-old with a passion for acting. I was born in Brussels and currently live in Antwerp. Although I have lived in Belgium my entire life, both my parents are originally from the Netherlands. As a result, I speak Dutch fluently at home. With my friends, I often speak Flemish, which gives me flexibility in language use. I also speak French and German quite well.
When I was 11 or 12, I started taking acting lessons in Kalmthout, Antwerp. There I not only learned a lot, but I also actually stood on stage. That felt great! It gave me a first glimpse of what it is like to be in the spotlight, and I knew right away: I want to do this more often. Unfortunately, I had to stop after two years because I got too busy with hockey, tennis and school.
I am a confident and authentic person, someone who likes to show his own unique personality. Although I had to quit after two years of drama school because of my busy schedule with hockey, tennis and school, my passion for acting has always remained. I believe that my experience in sports has taught me discipline, perseverance and teamwork, qualities that I take with me in my work as an actor.
I look forward to further developing my passion for acting and taking on new challenges. With my language skills, stage experience and enthusiasm, I am ready to make a valuable contribution to a variety of productions.
