About me
Hello! My name is Jeroen Roose and I am 53 years young. My career path has been quite diverse, which has given me a wealth of experience. I once started as an independent café owner and restaurant manager, an adventure that lasted fifteen years. Today I have been working as a laboratory manager for fifteen years, a role in which I have been able to further develop my organizational skills and eye for detail.
I am happily married and the proud bonus father of a 27 year old daughter and a 9 year old son. My family is my greatest source of inspiration and support in everything I do.
In addition to my professional career, I have a passion for acting and have had the opportunity to fulfill various (bit part) extra roles in the past. For example, I was seen in films such as "Kapitein Rob en het geheim van professor Lupardi", "Het leven uit één dag", "Dik Trom", and I had the honor of playing the role of Jaap as a bit part extra in the film "Amsterdam" by Ivo van Hove. I have also gained experience in commercials, including those of Boursin, and I have participated in advertising photo shoots.
My versatility allows me to play a variety of roles, from an office worker to a villain, from a restaurant visitor to a doctor in a hospital. Thanks to some medical knowledge, I can credibly portray a medical professional, and as a laboratory technician I can draw on my own professional experience, such as a member of the Dutch Ebola outbreak team, during the Ebola epidemic in Sierra Leone (2015).
I am very flexible in terms of time and am always open to new challenges and opportunities to further expand my acting experience. I look forward to being part of new projects and further developing my passion for acting.
