In Australia, I directed a short documentary that was selected for Monash University's Creative Directions Festival. The documentary "Mullet Boyz" explores international students' perspectives on the quintessential Australian hairstyle, the mullet. While these students' hair is being cut in the studio, they answer questions that shed light on the mystery and hype surrounding this hairstyle.

I'm paid to edit short promotional videos for Symbol BV. These videos are used for YouTube and will soon appear on the website. I use Adobe Premiere Pro for this.
Youtube: Editing Junkie
A few years ago, purely for my own amusement, I started a YouTube channel (Editing Junkie) to post fan edits. These are music videos featuring footage from my favorite films and TV shows that tells a specific story about the characters. Many of the videos are dated and stem from periods when I was learning to edit, resulting in low-quality videos. However, there are a few projects I'm proud of. My most-viewed video has around 350,000 views, and the channel has 827 subscribers.
AEGEE Film Club
I'm currently working with several other students to establish a film club within the AEGEE student association. We're excited to launch this film club after several well-received videos we made for the association. These included promotional videos and an introductory video for the new board.
Extras: "Brute!" and "Taming the Dragon"
I was an extra in the student film "Bruut!" (Brute!) from the HKU University of the Arts Utrecht and "Taming the Dragon" from the Netflix junior team. Although my role in these projects wasn't significant, I learned a lot by getting a behind-the-scenes look.

Doordat ik naast film ook een grote interesse heb in journalistiek, zou ik deze vakgebieden graag combineren. Documentaire ontleent zich naar mijn idee naar deze wens en daarom ben ik erg gemotiveerd om meer te leren over documentaire. Ik heb brede interesses en pak daarom alle kansen om mezelf te ontwikkelen met twee handen aan; ik beperk me dan ook niet alleen tot documentaire en wordt graag gecontacteerd over nieuwe interessante projecten.
