Katja Von Schalch

Hi, I am Katja, Cultural Anthropology student at Leiden University with a passion for cinema and filmmaking.
I specialize in Media and Visual Ethnography, which involves filming documentaries. During the course we were taught how to make a compelling documentary and composed our own film proposal. My study is quite theory heavy, and I wish to gain more practical experience on set. I have been previously educated in literary studies, have a good knowledge of literature and film, and can help with writing a screenplay.
I have been volunteering as a videographer as ZID theatre in Amsterdam and have my own website, where I post reviews of books, films and media I have consumed.
