About me
My name is Katheryna Lesyk
I am a Ukrainian producer and director. I was born in the
amazing city of Kyiv. I love making something eternal. Something that can touch hearts and
inspire others. I have developed my life and career in Ukraine and was very happy. It never even crossed my mind to move or migrate out of my beloved country. But then unfortunately the full-scale invasion happened.
The war made it impossible to stay, so I had to start
over from scratch in the Netherlands. But as you know Ukrainians are a strong people. That is why, as a true Ukrainian, I refuse to put my head down and always have a resilient
forward outlook. I worked in different roles and at different stages of production and have experience as a director, 1 AD, 2 AD, bidding producer, line producer, executive producer and development producer.
I also participated Berlinale Co-production Market and the Cannes Marche du Film Industry Workshop.
Now I am living in the Netherlands and planning to stay here. I am
ready for different challenges. I want to make it. And I will.
