Monique Gey Van Pittius

The last couple of months, I have been traveling Europe to find out more about different cultures and see the world, as well as discover more about myself.
After a really great year of traveling and learning so much, I'm ready to get back into the work industry with full force.
Before traveling, I worked as a Senior Production Manager and Line Producer for different television production companies. My duties included managing several productions, working closely with a team, and allocating roles and duties to my different team members. Please refer to my references below for a scope of the projects and productions I worked on. I mainly worked on reality television as well as television advertisements and one feature film.
I graduated from AFDA Johannesburg Film School.
During my three years at AFDA, I specialised in media and film producing. My graduation film was nominated under the three best academic films and was nominated as one of the overall best films in Johannesburg. I was honored to be nominated as one of the top three students of my class.
However big or small the job may be, I bring focused energy, take pride in my friendly professional approach, and have strong communication skills across the entire team. I have a positive 'can do' mentality, earning my teams trust. I am a quick thinker and love problem solving. I have shown to have good team leadership skills, and I always strive to give my best and overcome all obstacles.
