About me
I'm Merel, 28 years old, living in Amsterdam and just graduated as a director at the HKU! In my work as a director, I am often busy creating innovative female role models to enrich the film landscape in a colorful way. My latest work 'Shelf Lives' (seen on NPO 3lab) is a good example of this.
In addition to directing, I can be deployed in many more roles. Through my internship at Levitate Film I also gained experience and developed a preference for being a creative producer and as a set dresser. I also feel comfortable with simple editing jobs or as a PA on set.
