About me
A filmmaker and IT specialist, holding a masters degree in Cinema from Bahcesehir University. Award winner at Istanbul tourism film festival (2018), and Amorgos film festival (2021) for achievements in tourism film production. Over the past years, I have worked in an American film production office, had many film directing workshops with RFC Jordan. Recently I am focusing on writing film scripts that reflect our stories, to help reach the ultimate goal of having the name "Jordanian cinema" heared everywhere. In addition to running filmmaking workshops to spread the knowledge of filmmaking to the youth. The past year was packed with lots of workshops, taking the highlights of what I learnt in my Masters and share it with filmmaking enthusiasts in Jordan. During my masters I focused on the connection between cinema and technologies, studying what technology would shape the future of cinema, and focusing on studying the use of machine learning to help develop CGI in real time, and create a steady base for CGI in the region. Also using the magic of story telling in producing commercials, promotional videos, and cooking master classes, in addition to documentaries about true stories of war survivors.
