My name is Yèsamine Bohemién and I am an independent theatrical artist and costume maker. What I make could be defined as “non-western theatre”. I like to maneuver in self-draped robes/costumes and theater relics, Kuchi jewelry and Berber/Persian carpets. I also make costumes inspired by mythical extras/goddesses in old paintings and I collect Bohemian decoration and brocante textiles. I am also a poet who likes to combine romantic poetry with street poetry/hip hop. I also sing. I am interested in all kinds of film projects and video work. I am particularly attracted to narrative and controversial topics. I also offer to play extra roles in video clips. I do both still and moving theatre, so theatrical photography also falls under what I do.
