Founder and owner of studio HB Staging Stef Heijnen-Bakker started his company in 2012. He is the creative brain behind many production and designs. His goal: to make every live event an unforgettable moment. He does this by coloring outside the lines and investigating how the impossible can be made possible.
Stef not only has an infectious energy and a daring artistic vision, he also prefers to think in terms of new possibilities. Why do what someone else is already doing? Stef is aware of the latest leading techniques and imaginative materials and has his permanent creative team around him to implement those ideas. He uses this to develop immersive interdisciplinary experiences.
Full focus, only then can Stef give 110%. 110% yes, less is not good enough. The customers of studio HB Staging can count on undivided attention, quality, magic and tranquility. Stef Heijnen-Bakker has a background in urban planning and theater design, he obtained his diplomas in Architecture (Urban Design) at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and theater design at the Vogue Academy (set and costume design). With his experience at major companies such as Apple and with a CV filled with productions for AVROTROS, The CineMusic Experience, Dance Valley, Kinky Boots, Sweet Sixteen, G-Star, Storytel and KFC, he has proven that he knows what he is talking about.
From material options, good decor and set builders, use of color to sight lines, all the knowledge is in-house, whether it concerns building, constructions or technology. When the set or decor is being built, he will always ensure that there is a specialist from the studio!
