Heather is a nonfiction video producer. Her projects range from sociocultural documentaries to short form lifestyle content, and as a former actress, she has a passion for stories that put characters at the forefront. She's produced content for the Travel Channel and Food Network international brands (Scripps Networks) and has been an associate producer for LandGrant Films, Academics in Asia and independent films. She's currently open to freelance partnerships around the globe and has availability to travel for extended time while in the field. She spent the last two seasons working on projects in Italy and was previously in Beijing and Henan province, China, producing stories about an eclectic faculty of foreign teachers as they traveled and adapted to the symptoms and phases of "cultural shock." In 2016, Heather worked with Scripps Networks International (now, Discovery) and was an associate on the "A Place to Call Home" documentary (LandGrant Films). Working with various production outlets and genres over the last 5 years, Heather always comes back to her roots in character driven storytelling.
