About me
When I was seven my grandfather gave me a simple analog camera, which was much like a disposable camera. From that moment on I began to study composition, framing, lighting, viewpoints and line work. My passion for creating images and visual storytelling was born. From the age of 12 film also began to capture my attention. Since then I have made my passion - my work and I am currently active as a freelance filmmaker. My primary activities are working as a cameraman (DOP), camera assistant (1st and 2nd AC) and assisting gaffers (bestboy) or doing lighting work myself.

Camera and lighting done for various corporate productions for companies such as Leaseplan. Worked on several productions as 1st AC for DOP Richard van Rijn (focus pulling, general support, data handling, etc.), including for ING and Rebelle Amsterdam. Several years of experience as a freelance bestboy and gaffer with Roel Ypma's Light Brigade, for example in productions such as NTR Klokhuis and Sinterklaasjournaal.
