About me
Sijtze van der Meer (1972) graduated from the Mime School Amsterdam in 1999. He then studied for two more years at the Amsterdam Theater School. After graduating, Sijtze played various roles with, among others, Het Vervolg, IJswoestijn, Theater Group De Kern and Toneelgroep De Appel and he was permanently associated with Theater Group Würz. Since 2009 he has been a member of Branoul's Gang and can therefore regularly be seen in Theater Branoul performances.
In addition to his theater work, Sijtze has played roles in various television series and films, collaborating with directors such as Arno Dierickx, Dana Nechushtan, Paula van der Oest, Joram Lürsen, Ben Sombogaart and others. A complete overview can be found on the Internet Movie Database.
