Brechtje

Brechtje is a singer, songwriter, and painter based in Groningen. She began painting at a young age, teaching herself the craft. Her style is recognized for its abstract, colorful, and messy strokes. Since 2020, she has successfully sold her paintings under the name Brechtjepet. In 2023, she also released her first track, "Look Away," under the name BRECHTJE. She does not want to stick to one genre because she believes that every feeling has its own genre. Brechtje often combines music and painting to create unique works. She is known for live painting and exhibiting at signature events such as ADE and Grote Gezeik.
