I am a highly experienced, extremely reliable tour, stage, artist & production manager within the live music industry. With strong organizational and communication skills I get people enthusiastic and decisive. People like to work with me because I take responsibility, provide clarity, arrange everything well and get it done, I am reliable and have the necessary sense of humour.
2001 – 2013
Part-time position (24/40) in paid employment at Escape Pop- & Cultuurpodium, Veenendaal (capacity 300, escape-veenendaal.nl), as head of PR & music programme, production manager and volunteer coordinator. Turning Escape youth center into a professionally equipped pop stage (C status) recognized by the Performing Arts Fund NL.
2002 - present
With Bookhooker Agency (bookhooker.nl), my service company for artists, successful until 2003 as a booker and manager of Dimension Seven and my own practical workshop 'How do I book my band in the Netherlands'.
Since 2003 with the national and international management, tour management & production leadership of internationally successful bands such as Epica (NL), Stream of Passion (NL), Kamelot (USA), Novastar (BE) and nationally at Racoon (NL), Guus Meeuwis ( NL) and The Common Linnets (NL). Led Pyro and DVD recording productions and toured internationally in clubs and theaters and at festivals in Europe, USA & Canada, Russia, Mexico, Israel, Tunisia and South America.
Stage management & Artist production at small and medium-sized festivals, events and in Tivoli Vredenburg.
2011 - present
The Bookhooker Artist Support Foundation was established to apply for grants for artists. Received various types of subsidies for a range of Dutch artists.
2008 - present
Until 2011 lecturer in the subject Entrepreneurship at the Dutch Pop Academy in Utrecht.
Giving various guest lectures 'Doing Bookings', 'Tour Management' and 'Management & Production Leadership' at Hogeschool In Holland Rotterdam, Academy for Pop Culture Leeuwarden, Dutch Pop Academy Utrecht, Metal Factory and Rock City Institute Eindhoven.
