I am a 24 year old British, Amsterdam-based voice actress. I have a considerable amount of professional experience, and really enjoy performing voice work in particular. I am adept at performing most accents from the UK, and also a good deal of North American accents. I am very flexible, and can be available to work at any times/days of the week, with short notice. I have played in various radio dramas for the BBC, taking the lead role of 'Marnie' in the children's ghost story 'When Marine was there'. (2006) I also starred in Annie McCartney’s comedy drama radio play, for BBC: ‘The Occasional Swim’ (2003). I enjoy taking part in all kinds of acting projects, but have always really enjoyed and been particularly drawn to voice work. In 2014, I was cast for the very enjoyable job of being the English female voice for the new Hyundai in-car navigation system. I was hired by Vincent Helbers, of ‘Flowriders Studios’, Amsterdam. In 2015, I was cast as the voice of a Tannoy for an Artist named Anne Ohrling Dersen’s sound installation. Recordings of my voice were played to viewers and listeners visiting the show, at which point they were asked to react to the questions and observations that I was reading out, by writing on provided whiteboards. This month, my voice will also be being used in the form of a monologue at an opening in Galerija Simulaker, Slovenia. A German Artist named Nicola Arthen hired me as a voice actor, playing the role of an in-car navigation system that has gone faulty/begun to glitch, and become human. I have also played smaller roles in a number of Working Title films, such as 'Perfect Strangers', starring Rob Lowe and Anna Friel (2004). I have played in numerous other shorts and art house films, such as 'End of the Line' with the talented Miriam Margolyes (2004); and ‘Streams in Blue’ by Harald Hutter (2015). I took the lead role of 'Jade' in 'My Dangerous Loverboy’ (2009), a government funded short about the dangers of trafficking in the UK. I worked with the talented Junade Khan, who now stars in the UK soap Hollyoaks.
