About me
After studying Film & Television Science and Language Control, Esther van Driesum worked as a copywriter for various magazines, radio maker, dramaturge (VARA and VPRO) and script editor. For the past 10 years, she has served as Head of Programs and Lab Director at Binger Filmlab. Within the Binger labs that she helped design, Esther supported feature film and documentary makers from all over the world in the development of their projects.
In March 2013, Esther decided to continue her work as a self-employed person, with the main focus on project and talent development in both drama and documentary. She now works as a freelance Creative Producer at Witfilm and film producers such as BIND and JvdW Film. Last fall she was one of the script mentors in the NFDC Screenwriters Lab (India) and guest lecturer at the Netherlands Film and Television Academy.
