Good morning, I am Maria Ruegebrink. I grew up in Loenen, Gelderland, and subsequently lived in Antwerp, Gorssel, Amsterdam, Zutphen, Zwolle, and have now been living in 's-Hertogenbosch for many years. I have a knack for languages (accents, dialects, speaking the dialect... no problem), but I speak Standard Dutch. I have a higher professional education. I have always worked in youth care. Additionally... a two-year course in 'dance, drama, and visual arts'. My most recent paid job: mentor for unaccompanied minor asylum seekers. My great passion still lies with theatre. Currently, I am working on an open-air performance (nature theatre: De Kersouwe) in which I have been given a wonderful role. Attended many workshops and training sessions… worked with professional directors and with various groups, including semi-professional productions. Experience: large and small venue productions / monologues / poetry projects / classical, modern, etc. Additionally: training actor, role-playing, film and video, short films, training films for courses, etc… Furthermore, I have been taking painting lessons with great enthusiasm since 2017. I am married to Henk, I love my children, grandchildren and him. Together, we enjoy camping in nature with a folding caravan and go on beautiful treks.
