Tamara Vuurmans

For almost 15 years I have experience with the entire documentary production process. Research, development and requests for production and post-production. Between 2003 and 2007, in addition to my work, I followed and completed the 'Language and Image' course at the Rietveld Academy. Since then I have specialized my work in writing film plans, research and development and I supervise documentary directors in terms of content, also during production and editing. Together with Sunny Bergman I have the film plans for 'Real Than Real', 'Perishable', 'Sunny Side of Sex' and 'Slut Fear?' written. Together with Lisa Boerstra I developed the Teledoc 'Life@Lowlands' and the film by Nirit Peled about the Super Jews of Ajax. I am currently working with Daan Veldhuizen on his new film about the meeting between tourism and the local population in Laos. No film is the same and I have learned to develop a unique combination of form and content together with the maker.
