About me

In addition to theater work, I have a lot of TV experience. Had leading, supporting and guest roles in more than 30 TV series. And a leading role in the feature film by director Sander Francken, who was nominated in '83 for the Golden Calf in the category large feature film.
Music has always played a big role in my career. Started in '77 at Rocktheatergroep Werk in Progress. Then came the TV work and followed many roles at the RO theater and musicals at, among others. Stage Entertainment. (West Side Story, Blood Brothers, Mamma Mia, Saturday Night Fever)
From the nineties also active as a director.
In addition, I always had my own bands as a singer. Repertoire ranging from Greek, French, Balkan, Dutch, Portuguese.

One of the leading roles in The Solution? Directed by Sander Francken. The film script - with the theme of emerging racism in the 1980s - developed by Francken based on a previously made performance by theater group Werk in Progress in collaboration with the Anne Frank Foundation. Under the leadership of chairman Hedy D'Ancona, the jury of the Dutch Film Days in '83 wanted to award the film the Golden Calf. Various film producers protested against this, because the film was not made for the cinema circuit, but sealed from a curriculum for secondary schools. Given the explosive content of the film, the Anne Frank House rightly insisted on this, and the jury was forced to award the prize to another film. It became the documentary Hans, the life before the death of Louis van Gasteren
In addition to this -only- film role, I have done many roles in TV series.
