About me

Since 1990 until today working as a costume designer for various television productions and films. I am also regularly present on the set as the main costume. I work from my own studio where I manage a huge stock of clothing and accessories.

After so many different productions, I still really enjoy dressing up a 'story'. I like to immerse myself in a script to support a character with clothing, in consultation with the director, art direction and actor. I am inspired by the street scene, a certain period in history or by a certain atmosphere that the image should evoke. The clothes I use come from everywhere; large sponsors, small vintage shops, rentals or retail chains. Does the clothing not immediately fit perfectly; with my tailoring background it is not difficult to customize the clothes.
