Born in 1961. Studied at the Film Academy as a producer, director, cameraman and editor and studied at the University as a Film Scientist. Since 1988, Gilles Frenken has produced and directed 50 short and 100 full-length films, 140 of which he shot himself as a cameraman. As a cameraman, he shot about 100 films for other directors. Ran on 16 and 35mm, on all video cameras and DSLRs. Also works as a photographer. Has several complete video sets, including Canon C300. Worked in more than 100 different countries. Also made 20 long radio documentaries for Radio1.
