About me
My name is Daniel Ortgiess. I am a Producer/Composer with a Diploma in Sound Engineering at the Fontys Rock Academy. I have experience in producing music for the film industry, TV/radio commercials, and music for the music industry. I did my internship in 2008 at a studio in Los Angeles ( Himmasongs) they are responsible for the series: Men in trees, Bones, Judging Amy, and various feature films. I made music myself for the movie Last day of summer ( Nicky Reed, William Sadler, Dj Quals ) This movie has yet to be released in NL.

Ik werk met Mac en Pc platvorm en bekend met de pakketten Cubase, Protools, Logic. Daarnaast heb ik diverse geluidskaarten van M-audio en condensator mic van AKG. Ik heb een ideale ruimte om te produceren en te mixen maar ook gitaar, zang en piano op te nemen. Drums en meerstemmige zang kan ik opnemen op diverse locatie waar ik connecties heb.

Ik heb soundengineering gestudeerd, dus ik heb naast software kennis ook kennis voor verschillende hardware mix tafels, Compressors, Pre-amps en mics.
Ik weet ook veel van verschillende opname technieken, zo ook voor Dolby suround.

I am a producer of the new generation,. that is to say that I understand the latest techniques that are now used in the music industry. I have a lot of affinity with film music because I also have a trip hop band with which we are involved with atmospheric cinematic music. I come from the electronic corner and combine this with authentic sounds so that my productions still sound organic.
