About me
After graduating as a fiction director at the Hogeschool der Kunsten in Brussels in 1998, I continued as a cinematographer and several productions I participated in have been awarded prizes at festivals at home and abroad. The film Jewish Boxing, among others, receives the award for best cinematography at the Brussels Film Festival. After wanderings, the blood is thicker than water and I pick up the thread again in 2010 by filming and editing the documentary “Wat was Massa”. This was the start of new documentary and fiction work as a director and cinematographer. A number of productions can be seen on my website

So I've been out of the business for a while, but since 2010 I've been busy again. So I missed the gradual transition from analog film to digital. Now I can learn very quickly and have embraced the digital age with its infinite possibilities. And that is always surprising and enjoying! I have learned a lot from shooting on film, only because of the cost of shooting you always have to think very carefully before you turn on the camera. And that good thinking is still in me.

Working creatively and original, I see the search for certain boundaries as a challenge. Also good at improvisation, thinking quickly and coming up with solutions.
