About me
I'm Marjoleine, and I've been working as a special effects makeup artist for over 20 years, specializing in realistic wounds, horror, and creature effects. From my studio, Studio Putter, I design and create everything from subtle scars to full prosthetics and monsters for film and television. My work is raw, detailed, and always focused on cinematic credibility.
Besides my makeup work, I'm also a screenwriter, with a strong focus on the horror and thriller genres. My passion lies in developing stories that combine suspense, human drama, and visual nightmares. I believe that good horror goes beyond jump scares—it's about atmosphere, psychology, and the unexpected.
I actively seek collaborations with filmmakers and producers who want to take their projects to the next level, both in the field of SFX and with original horror stories.
