I studied cultural anthropology and worked for many years as a scientific researcher at the Trimbos Institute. Since 2012 I have had my own company, www.veentekstinbeeld.nl, and I make web videos. I film, interview and edit myself.

I have made corporate videos for various clients:
1 I have made several films for the Zorgbalans Foundation, including: an informative film about the residents' wishes regarding care provision; information film about the benefits of more exercise for residents in nursing homes; informative film in which best practices of self-reliance in healthcare were shown and the limits thereof were explored; information films about working in the neighborhood teams; information film about the role of informal care in healthcare; promotional films for recruiting volunteers and buddies;
2 Trimbos Institute: Drug users speak out about the treatment of hepatitis C;
3 Municipality of Amsterdam: series of 15 films about residents' initiatives in South East in the context of Urban Renewal Reform.
I cannot show many of the films for the Zorgbalans foundation and the film for the Trimbos Institute due to the privacy of the residents and addicts. The films are for internal use.

My work experience as a researcher allows me to approach people in an accessible manner and to enter into contact with them and people tell me their story. I am very strong at interviewing and have gained many years of experience in this, not only as a camjo but also as a scientific researcher/cultural anthropologist. I am flexible and can talk to different types of people.
