About me
I am 70 years old and a professional actor/singer since 1969. I then played in the 'big musicals', such as Hair and Salvation.
There was no follow-up at the time and I then had a singing career with great success for 12 years together with an Irishman as the duo 'Alexander & Astley' in France and eventually performed at the Olympia in Paris. That stopped in the early 1980s because of the alcohol consumption of my Irish companion. Back in the Netherlands, I followed the Werkplaats Drama of the Amsterdamse Toneelschool for 4 years and acted in a series of stage and film/TV and TV advertising productions, and have also worked as a training actor since 1986, which I still do now and then. (that world has collapsed considerably due to the crisis). I have also worked as a soundman in documentaries and screenplays written alone and with others.
And now I have been retired for five years and I still sing/play in a band. I am also still working as a (training) actor
