Born 1976, Italy.
After working for many years in an office environment, I decided to start studying again to pursue the passion of a lifetime: photography.
I realized back in 2007 that photography could not and should not have stayed a Sunday activity only.
I enrolled at the Fotoacademie in Amsterdam and I graduated cum laude in June 2011.
My work is very personal; some viewers described it as sometimes disturbing, others as confronting. My photography is direct but always leaves some questions open for the viewer.

During my studies at the Fotoacademie I had to learn to use the majority of camera formats and light set up. I have experience in shooting with small, medium and big format cameras digital and analogue, TC. I have experience with the majority of raw converter and photo editing software's and very familiar with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (my daily bread). I work preferably on Mac platform, with graphic tablet and calibrated screens. I am able to follow the calibrations process from shoot to print.
I have experience also with light set-ups and use of flashes and lamps.
