About me
Hello, I'm Marcel Ooms, a 25 year old 2D and 3D animator with a great passion for movies. After my HBO Media and Entertainment Management I immediately started as a freelancer. In the meantime I have worked on many different projects such as large projects (including the Dutch animation oscar entry "the Monster of Nix"), short online campaigns in which difficult concepts are explained, and interactive web animations. In addition, I make an animation for myself every week so that I can play with new plugins and creativity. I think what's unique about me is that if I'm well motivated, I'm willing to do anything for a project. Working through the night and little sleep is no problem for me, as long as I notice that everyone is 110% committed to the project and the end result is the best possible. In addition, I am very broadly educated. Both in the entire film world through my studies, which also taught me how to edit, audio, produce and direct. But also in the field of animation I have done many different types of animation, so I have a lot of knowledge about different software and animation styles.
