Julie Verburg

Julie Verburg (1982) studied journalism at the University of Amsterdam. She has opted for audiovisual research and editing, where she has been prepared for professional practice. Between her BA Media and Culture and the MA Journalism (both University of Amsterdam) she worked at the In Europe program of the VPRO, as a web editor at the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision, on the editorial board of Hoe?Zo! radio of Teleac/NOT and as part of her MA Journalism she did an internship at NOS Evenementen. After her studies she worked in the HUMAN research department, and now she has started as a freelancer for herself. As a freelancer, she now wakes up for Fast Facts. Her personal interests are mainly science and history programs, but she is always open to other challenges.
