About me

In 1991 i started to work as a sound engineer at the Radio Television Belge Francophone (belgian public bradcasting company). Ik worked mostly on live radio programs but also on recorded radio programs and promos.
In 1994 i moved to London where i worked for two music recording studios First at Falconer Studios and later at Pink Floyd's Britannia Row Studios. I came across a lot of different recording techniques in that period.
In 1999 i decided to move to Amsterdam where i got the proposition to work in post-production for TV producer Joop van den Ende (later Endemol). I worked there as a senior sound engineer for more than ten years on many entertainment and reality shows. Since 2010 i work as a freelance sound engineer for different post-production companies and in november 2010 i became the owner of The Sound Republic.

The last twenty years i have worked on many primetime television programs such as Ushi & Loesie, All you need is love, TV Makelaar, Hart in Aktie, Benelux' Next Top Model and In Holland staat een Huis as well as on documentaries, drama productions, commercials and corporate films. Further i have a lot of experience in recording, editing and mixing music and in making sound logos/sound design.
