I'm Miguel (he/him), a visual artist, filmmaker and designer specializing in mixing different styles of
illustration and animation through narratives that are thought-provoking yet accessible.

Guided by an intuitive process of layering, juxtaposing and assembling, I explore innovative ways of documenting and communicating that transcend the limitations of conventional methodologies. I playfully reshape the serious world around me, creating new unhinged spaces that embrace complex emotions and narratives.

My graduation work "I can see Jay there" (2025) was showcased as an installation at Dutch Design Week, shared on an intimate club night at Garage Noord and will be screened at Kaboom Animation Festival 2026. I'm currently working as a freelancer and I'm open for collaborations and job offers.
