Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Vladyslav, and I am writing to you with sincere respect and a strong personal motivation.
Two months ago, I was forced to leave Ukraine due to a direct threat to the safety of my family and
myself. I am originally from Odesa and currently staying in Switzerland with my wife, where we have
been granted protection status.
However, my life situation is deeply connected to the Netherlands. I have a six-year-old son from my
previous marriage who lives in Nijmegen with his mother and her husband. A few days ago, I was finally
able to see him for the first time in three years. Being physically far away from him makes it extremely
difficult for me to build a stable future, and that is why I am actively seeking opportunities that would
allow me to relocate closer to my son.
During our recent visit to the Netherlands, my wife and I felt a strong emotional connection to the
country, its people, and its atmosphere. Unfortunately, entering the Netherlands through refugee
procedures is currently very limited, so I decided to pursue a professional path by applying directly to
employers.
I have professional experience as a decorator and prop maker in the media production field. In Ukraine,
I worked at Unicorn Media, a large production company operating multiple YouTube channels for both
children and adult audiences. I was part of a full production team and participated in projects from early
pre-production to final release.
My responsibilities included designing and building sets, decorating filming locations, and creating
props of various complexity — from small handcrafted items to large-scale constructions. In addition, I
completed professional training in interior design and earned a certified diploma. I strongly believe that
my practical skills, creative mindset, and ability to work in a team could be valuable for your projects.
