I am an emerging Italian filmmaker, currently based in the Netherlands.
I studied Film and Media at NABA – Milan, where I completed a three-year program focused on directing, visual language and film analysis.
Earlier this year, my first short film was selected to represent the NABA/LAB showcase, and it is now waiting for responses from several European festivals for the upcoming season.
I am currently directing my second short film — a much more personal and intimate project — where I am exploring themes of identity, emotional rupture, and the relationship between performance and self-image.
My cinematic language is strongly influenced by Michael Haneke, Ruben Östlund, Scorsese, and Lars von Trier:
a mix of northern European austerity and psychological tension, combined with a raw, observational approach to human behavior.
I work with non-professional actors as well as professionals, and I am interested in performances that feel real, unpolished, and emotionally grounded.
